Description The 2VRE-2600TG is a 2V Tubular Gel OPzV maintenance-free battery for building larger battery bank systems with high reliability, durability, and cycling life. This OPzV format provides superior deep cycling performance and reliable energy storage for stationary applications including UPS, industrial backup, telecom networks, and renewable energy. OPz Tubular Plate Technology extends lead-acid battery service life significantly by providing excellent recovery during deep discharge and frequent Partial State of Charge operation. OPzV batteries provide maximum efficiency per discharge-charge cycle, and proven reliability in remote, high temperature, and unstable power network installations. OPzV batteries eliminates frequent and complex maintenance practices and provide the Lowest Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) amongst maintenance-free lead-acid technologies. Discover® Energy Storage Gel OPzV Tubular batteries are designed to provide reliable, long-term performance in reserve power applications. Tubular batteries feature positive battery plates with vertical spines that improve current flow and slow the corrosion process. Unlike flat plate battery designs, the active material on a tubular plate is encapsulated in a non-woven polyester gauntlet to prevent plate shedding and extend cycle and service life performance. The batteries have a long proven track record in mission critical installations, especially in remote and high temperature environments. Tubular lead-acid batteries are exceptionally tolerant of partial state of charge operation and deep discharge. Gel OPzV batteries provide superior float and cycle performance, with up to 20 year design life in renewable and stationary applications.
